Specifications

  • Day 1:Pick up from your hotel and overland journey to the "Plaza de Llamas" and Tuni Condoriri entrance valley, from where the trek accompanied by llamas starts, heading to the Chiar Khota Lagoon, surrounded by the snow-capped mountains. This magical place is the Base Camp for all Huayna Potosi climbers and it is the perfect location for a delicious outdoor brunch. After descending to another small lagoon, the vehicles drive you to Huatajata on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Board a Hydrofoil and navigate to the Island of Kalauta, the largest Necropolis of the Sacred Lake of the Incas. After a short trek, board a totora reed boat swinging to the Urus Iruitos Floating Islands and the sustainable Quewaya project. Some indigenous with their llamas and sheep's are the only witnesses of your journey through this -still untouched- part of the world. A typical native picnic, called Aptapi is shared with native neighbours. After visiting the Urus Iruitos -and their 5,000 year old culture-, return to Huatajata. Upon arrival stroll through the Andean Roots Eco Village and be part of the mystical night of the Kallawayas; later on, enjoy a star gaze in the Alajpacha native Observatory. Dinner and overnight at the Inca Utama Hotel & SPA
  • Day 2:Overland journey back to La Paz, drop off at your hotel.
